Husband to a wonderful wife, Cindy; blessed with three sons (Devin - 23, Eric -17, and Trevor -15); and grandfather to a beautiful little girl (Amy - 2), with another on the way.   

Born in Spokane Washington in 1956 and transplanted to Santa Cruz in 1962.  Accept Christ as Lord and Savior in sophomore year of high school.  Joined the Air Force at 18, then became an Air Technician at 21 with a local Unit, the 129 Rescue Wing.  Recently retired after 37 years of continuous service.

Married Cindy in 1983 and four years later with our first child on the way we started seriously searching for a permanent community of believers that we could look to as our extended family.  God lead us to a small startup church in 1988 known as Mission Springs Community Church.  Since becoming a member, I’ve spent time in most all of the ministries with major emphasis in youth ministry.  Cindy and I began with the Nursery and Kindergartners, later I assumed leadership of Adventure City, and then over the last few years spent time leading and teaching High Schoolers.   Served on the Leadership Council (LC) for a number of years, lead the committee in creating a new (current) Church Constitution, and most recently chaired the Sermon Team commissioned by the Church Health Team (CHT).
