At Mission Springs Community Church, we do not believe that prayer is A ministry of the church, but THE ministry of the church. Knowing that prayerlessness is our declaration of independence from God, we seek to make prayer a vital part of every ministry. Our goal is not simply to be a church with a prayer ministry but a praying church.
The heart and power of a prayer ministry is a vibrant relationship with Jesus Christ. Associate Pastor Rich Cavaness has a passion for prayer, and has led a strong Intercessory Prayer Team for > 7 years and has recently launched the Altar Workers Ministry Team.
If you'd like to join us in prayer, or are in need of prayer, there are a variety of ways to get involved:
Sunday Morning Prayer
Each Sunday, we endeavor to bathe the ministry of MSCC in intercessory prayer. No prior notification or registration is needed, simply join us any Sunday. The following prayer times are available:

- 9:00 AM - Prior to Sunday Morning Worship
- 12:00 PM - Just after Sunday Morning Worship

Prayer Chain
There is a whole army of prayer warriors that are connected through email. When someone has a need for prayer they can let our staff know and it is forwarded to our faithful group.
CityServe Prayer Services and prayer meetings
In addition members are encouraged to join other believers in the TriCity area through the CityServe ministry. Once a quarter Christians from various churches gather together to pray. In addition, there is a group of faithful prayer-ers that meet once a month.
