At MSCC we believe in the unity of the body - and when it comes to our Deaf and hearing members, it is no different. That is why we place a high value on integration in our services and ministries. However, we have come to recognize that Deaf have a need to worship and learn the word of God in their own first language: ASL. Therefore we have responded to this need by offering a separate Deaf worship service every Sunday. We will continue to provide ASL interpreters for those that choose to stay in the hearing service.
If you are Deaf or would like to experience a Deaf service, see the following options.
Deaf Worship Service
Option 1: 10:00am - Come to the interpreted service for opening announcements and music/worship. You can then stay in the interpreted service, or go to the Deaf service.
Option 2: 10:30am - Come to the Deaf service without coming at 10am to the first part of the hearing service [music/worship, announcements]
Everyone is encouraged to stay for our fellowship time afterwards in the main lobby.
