The Deaf community in Fremont is one of the largest per capita in the nation, including a residential school for Deaf children and a nationally recognized Deaf studies program at Ohlone College. We seek to make as many services, events, activities and ministries available to both Deaf and hearing individuals as possible. All worship services are ASL interpreted. As a result we have a growing integrated ministry where hearing and Deaf people mingle and fellowship together. One of the unique aspects of this emphasis is that blended Deaf/hearing families feel like they have found a home where all can grow in their faith.
We invite and encourage each Deaf member or attender to participate in a variety of MSCC ministries and committees. Interpreters can be provided whenever needed upon request.
