Baja Vision Ministries
In 1964, Pastor Sergio Gomez went to Tijuana with a vision to help those in need and to make Christ known. In 1965 he co-founded an orphanage and later founded Baja Vision Ministries, which has aided orphans, street kids, battered women, homless families, mentally disabled persons, and the terminally ill, many of whom may otherwise be abandoned to the streets. MSCC has done many housebuilding trips through Baja Vision.
PathLight International’s mission is to serve children at risk in Belize by providing educational opportunities which integrate faith and learning in order to break the intergenerational cycles of poverty. This is achieved through student sponsorships, teacher training workshops, teacher placements in under-resourced communities, and short-term service projects. MSCCers have worked on construction projects at local schools and assisted with teacher training programs. MSCCers Mark and Adrienne Parcher are co-founders of PathLight.
